Dreambox driver rs232

The software driver is properly installed, but the USB-RS adaptor does not work as expected One of the common reasons that software may not work as expected with a USB-Serial adaptor when the devcie is properly installed, is many older programs (and even some new ones) only support a limited number of COM ports (e.g. only COM1 - COM4)Missing: dreambox.  · I am using windows-XP. I have just bought a Dreambox dm hd. I needed to install the latest firmware again to my box. 1- I downloaded dreamup application and the firmware. 2- I could not find the driver from this web-site but windows vista took me to the driver vendor's website. The only way is to generate/backup an image that had installed the right driver, and flash the box with it via the Serial / RS port. I will try to go ahead for the RS Cable to USB. I wish I won't have problems with any Drivers both aside.
